Concrete Flows at Capitol Hill Station

What Sound Transit describes as the “big pour” went off without a hitch recently at the Capitol Hill light-rail station site.

Contractor JCM U-Link Joint Venture and concrete supplier Cadman teamed to pour nearly 6,000 cubic yards of concrete for the station's 10-foot-thick slab base. More than 600 trucks were involved in the operation. Ralph's Concrete Pumping delivered the mud to the pit. Read more...
